Dr. Colaizzo founded The Chiropractic & Therapy Center in 1989. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Rutgers University and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1987.

She is currently a candidate for a fellowship in primary spine care which includes proficiency in reading and interpreting spinal MRIs. Always eager to learn, she engages in continued education to ensure the most up to date and effective treatment strategies for her patients. Dr. Colaizzo speaks English, French, and conversational Italian.

Carrington joined our team in 2020. She held the role of medical scribe and administrative director, and currently works with the office for website management and other administrative duties. She graduated from Monmouth University where she majored in cellular biology and minored in Spanish. While working here, she enhanced her professional and medical skills to prepare her for her own journey in the medical field. She currently is pursuing her master degree in Physician Assistant Studies and will be completing her degree in August 2025. She plans to work in Internal Medicine, as well as a surgical specialty. Carrington speaks English and Spanish. 

Ryan joined our team in 2021. He graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in filmmaking and uses his creative skills along with his attention to detail to coordinate medical documentation with electronic billing to insurance companies. As a self described cinephile, Ryan spends a lot of his spare time watching movies both new and classics. Please call Ryan with any questions regarding your insurance coverage.

Ariana joined the team in 2025. She is currently a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in public health. She is also completing pre-requisites for Physician Assistant school. She is also part of the Rutgers dance team. In her spare time she enjoys working out and baking. Ariana speaks English and Spanish.

Karla joined our team in 2025. She is currently a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in public health. She is also competing pre-requisites for Physician Assistant school. She enjoys keeping active and journaling in her spare time. Karla speaks English and Spanish.

Yara joined our team in 2025. She is currently a junior at Rutgers University majoring in biology. She is preparing to enter the medical field with plans to become a doctor. She enjoys reading in her down time. Yara is also very family oriented and spends much of her time with her younger siblings. Yara speaks English, Arabic, and is learning Spanish.
